The Archard Residence project was a transformative renovation of a study/guest bedroom within a historic brick townhouse nestled in Boston's vibrant South End. As I spearheaded the majority of the design work, I collaborated closely with oversight from the project designer. Faced with limited space, the clients sought a versatile solution, prompting the integration of a Murphy bed to optimize functionality. Understanding the client's remote work needs, we prioritized a strategically positioned desk for professional Zoom calls, ensuring an appealing background aesthetic. To maximize utility in the compact space, built-in storage was seamlessly incorporated, providing both practicality and aesthetic appeal.

Additionally, our scope extended to enhancing the living room with a custom-built unit offering display, storage, and a discreetly concealed desk, all through custom cabinetry provided by Longfellow Design Build. Through meticulous planning and multiple design iterations, we successfully realized the client's vision, combining functionality with aesthetics.
