The Pochal Residence, located in the neighborhood of Boston's South End, was seeking a full renovation of their garden level living room and kitchen within their historic rowhouse. The kitchen features an open plan, accentuated by a newly installed island complete with seating, serving as a solution to the absence of a formal dining area. This interiors project required building permits, which I drew a permit plan for.
I designed the transformation of the space under the stairs into a built-in dry bar with custom cabinetry and shelves, extending storage capabilities while creating an area for entertainment opportunities.
Further expanding upon the concern of storage, a custom entertainment center built-in addresses this concern. The lower cabinets discretely hide existing irremovable pipe,s while also providing hidden storage. The open shelves are designed to accommodate the client's TV size.
