The Vertical Home explores the plasticity of domestic spaces through the careful attention to given spatial and formal constraints related to a stair, all while focusing on enhancing the quality of the indoor environment that supports human flourishment, spiritually and physically. The Vertical Home has a total area of 1200 sq. ft. with a footprint of 220 sq. ft. This six-story tower exists around a central staircase, with each floor and sub-floor serving a single purpose, following a programmatic sequence, with public areas below and more private above and a entrance halfway in the section separating the organization of public and private.
